No Warranty Card or Delivery Receipt?

I actually thought it odd at the time of delivery than no documentation arrived with the TV, and then forgot all about it but I will mention it here. There is not one appliance of any sort in our house that did not come with a warranty card, at the very least there was instructions on how to complete one electronically or something.

So this is something the Kogan needs to address because all a buyer has is the email with an order number. Surely cutting out the middle man does not mean cutting out relevant documentation physically, a saving of 5 cents maybe? I can only speak for myself but we like to file away important things like this for insurance among other things and I will be following this up. Not good enough! I will post this on their blog and see how long it lasts...

UPDATE
Just a quick update in relation to this topic, we have had the man himself Ruslan Kogan pop in to the blog and let us know where everything stands with the Warranty as well as the manual. Kogan will be providing some more online information in the Support section very soon.

But basically, you should have had a tax invoice and warranty card emailed to you after your purchase. if you didn't receive one contact them via the Support page and they will resend it.

Strange but Kogan says he has a paperless office.

I would as you say contact them and also printout any emails relating to the set purchase to save as a reference. Along with a copy of your bank/credit card statement at the time of purchase.

The pixelation you mentioned earlier wasn't due to a fridge, freezer, light switching or other electrical things kicking in was it? This will happen with any Digital signal if that is the case with your TV be it a STB or PVR.

Thanks for your comments, It very well may of been an appliance kicking in, I wasn't aware that can happen with digital as well, but it has been fine since Friday night anyway.

We have photocopied everything, always a good habit to get into...Cheers Rob

Yeah! Digital is more prone to pixelation due to electrical interference than analogue reception.

How was watching the Football? No blurry action pictures.

The footy has been fantastic, channel 10 seemed much better, shows up every wrinkle and bead of sweat...

The screen did have some blur a few times and I noticed it more so in the background than the play in focus so to speak. It certainly was not distracting or detracting from our viewing pleasure.

Nobody who was here watching it commented at all, they were all wrapped and are considering purchasing a Kogan themselves...

Can you hook up ps3 to your kogan and let us know the quality please? I am planning to buy one myself (47").

Hi Rob,

Ruslan here. Thanks so much for your feedback both on the Kogan blog and here, I've really appreciated and enjoyed reading your thoughts.

We pride ourselves on our paperless office. You should have had a tax invoice and warranty card emailed to you after your purchase. Please email us -- through our support page -- if you didn't receive this and we will resend it for you.

Additionally, we are about to stop shipping printed manuals with products - the latest version of all manuals will be found at www.kogan.com.au/support/. We've found that all our products are really easy to use and most people don't even look at the manual -- and if incase you need it, you always have the latest copy online. This is bound to save a few trees.

As for the footy, I'm really glad you're enjoying it. It would've been nicer to see Essendon in the mix though!

Hi Ruslan
Great to see you pop in here and reply to our thoughts, I think getting the manual and other info online will be fantastic. As easy as it was to setup the paper manual did not reproduce the screen shots from the TV very well, they were near useless as I guide, so I'm sure in PDF format that will be fine.

I hope your fiasco with Toll, is well on it's way to getting sorted out, and a company more deserving sees the big picture here with your company and looks after your customers. The market growth could be enormous the way your going...(Now where can I buy a fleet of trucks....)
