Warranty Job update...

Sorry mate, I've been using an off-line editor that is supposed to post when you go online...I answered this back when I got it...grrr

But yeah, I did get it back after about a week and they said it was, well, in their words

"Hi Rob,

We have change the main processor board of the TV and the firmware of the TV has been upgraded.

It was the issue with the colour processor and it has been fixed now.

Kindest Regards
Adam

Kogan Technologies"

Although the day prior, they did say to their credit that if they did not fix the fault by the following day, they WOULD replace it with brand new one (although I would have to wait until next shipment in August) So it was repaired came back the very next day via courier and been working perfect since.

I imagine the initial delay was in the courier mob bullshitting about when it was delivered to Kogan after getting from me.

All in all pretty happy with the warranty job.
(just to be sure, still keeping all the packaging, came in very handy)

No Warranty Card or Delivery Receipt?

I actually thought it odd at the time of delivery than no documentation arrived with the TV, and then forgot all about it but I will mention it here. There is not one appliance of any sort in our house that did not come with a warranty card, at the very least there was instructions on how to complete one electronically or something.

So this is something the Kogan needs to address because all a buyer has is the email with an order number. Surely cutting out the middle man does not mean cutting out relevant documentation physically, a saving of 5 cents maybe? I can only speak for myself but we like to file away important things like this for insurance among other things and I will be following this up. Not good enough! I will post this on their blog and see how long it lasts...

UPDATE
Just a quick update in relation to this topic, we have had the man himself Ruslan Kogan pop in to the blog and let us know where everything stands with the Warranty as well as the manual. Kogan will be providing some more online information in the Support section very soon.

But basically, you should have had a tax invoice and warranty card emailed to you after your purchase. if you didn't receive one contact them via the Support page and they will resend it.
